We are having a very cold spell right now just after Christmas and we all just want to hunker down and wait till this passes so we can look forward to warm breezes and growing grass.  I have started sprouting seeds that I can plant in small pots this coming week, keeping them under lights till they can be moved to their permanent place outdoors.
